The Chateau de Malerargue is in a rural area with hills, valleys a rivers. You can find various kinds charming and relaxed accommodations around Malérargue, Thoiras and other larger neighboring towns including La Salle, St. Jean du Gare, and Anduze. All of these towns are within a 15-20 minute drive and many of them offer a picturesque environment with local farmers markets, typical restaurants, and art studios.
Chambres d'Hotes:
Bed and Breakfast rooms (with double/single beds).
Rented by the night, at times 2-3 days minimum stay.
Hotels:
Some hotels also require a minimus stay of 3 nights during high season
Campgrounds:
Cottages and Cabins and tents
Gîtes:
Independent apartments (often stone buildings) that have shared kitchens, bathrooms and other facsilities. Rented by the week Saturday to Saturday. This is a bit tricky because the wedding events go from Thursday to Monday. This may only work for you if come for two full weeks, or you come only the before the wedding and stay the rest of the week.
Maisons:
Independent houses. Rented also by the week from Saturday to Saturday.
Check the map before reserving. You want to be as close to Thoiras as possible. When you contact the place make sure to ask them how long it takes to drive to the Roy Hart Centre, (in French - Le Centre Roy Hart don't pronounce the 'H'!) in Malérargues/Thoiras.
